Empowering Women and Children today, for a stronger and brighter Change tomorrow
Who We Are
“Together, We Give Women and Children the Tools to Build a Better Future.”
Nathaniel Albert Foundation is a nonprofit social enterprise that was established by Oluwakemi Adesina in 2020. It is an organization aimed at empowering women and children by increasing their access to educational and health resources, supporting their entrepreneurial endeavours and empowering them to become agents of change.
The Nathaniel Albert Foundation is a major force that is inclined to help women and children develop through vitalizing incentives and empowerment initiatives to build strategies that will help them sustain stable living, increasing trust in their communities and value in themselves.
Our Approach
At the Nathaniel Albert Foundation, our approach is centered on empowerment through education, health awareness, mentorship, and community engagement. We believe in equipping women and children with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to thrive and become agents of positive change in their communities. Our programs are designed to be holistic and sustainable, addressing both personal development and social challenges.
For example, in collaboration with SavingCross Justicepoint Foundation, we run a Teenagers Programme in Aleshinloye, Ibadan, focused on career readiness, mentorship, personal growth, and menstrual hygiene. We also conduct capacity-building sessions on sexual abuse, sex education, and hygiene for secondary school students in Ido and Akinyele local government areas, and in partnership with Dorcas Grace Initiative, we teach menstrual hygiene and work to end period stigmatization, providing menstrual kits to girls and educational materials to both girls and boys.
Additionally, our community engagement includes events like the 2021 Children’s Day party in Alagbado, Lagos, where we provided 100 children and 25 adults with customized school bags, notebooks, and other educational essentials, ensuring both learning and celebration go hand in hand.
